Salary Matrix:
• Professor: Pay Matrix Level-14 / Level-13A plus Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and state allowances.
• Assistant Professor: Pay Matrix Level-11 (₹ 67,700 to ₹ 2,08,700/-) plus applicable NPA, DA, HRA, and special medical allowances as per 7th Pay Commission.
Selection Methodology:
1. Scrutiny of Applications: Evaluation of academic credentials, NMC recognition, and teaching/residency experience certificates.
2. Screening Examination (if applicable): Conducted only if the number of applicants in a speciality is high to shortlist candidates for interview.
3. Personal Interview: Direct interview conducted by UPPSC expert medical boards to determine final selection.
4. Document Verification & Medical Clearance: Verification of original registration certificates, experience credentials, and state medical council verification.

- Navigate to All Notifications / Advertisements and locate Advt No. D-1/E-1/2026 – Medical Education Department (Allopathy).
- Click on Apply next to the desired speciality for Professor or Assistant Professor.
- Authenticate via your OTR Number through mobile OTP or OTR Password.
- Verify pre-populated personal details, choose speciality discipline, and enter teaching/senior residency experience details and publication indices.
- Pay the requisite application fee via SBI MOPS online payment gateway.
- Submit the online application form and print 2 copies of the completed form and payment receipt.
- Dispatch/Submit the printed application hard copy along with self-attested copies of all degrees, certificates, and experience documents to the UPPSC office on or before the specified date (15 September 2026).
